Mittal’s Textile Showroom

A showroom to have client meetings is a transformed shell where the new interior is conceived in a manner of a ‘rugged installation’. The original mosaic floor, now rapidly becoming obsolete is preserved and offset with use of pinewood and pebbles. The Pinewood furniture is expressed as if emerging out of the floor plane.

The hangar system for clothes is made as an installation of Galvanized iron plumbing pipes. The prominent hanging ceiling discs made of cement board add to the voluminous nature of the space further enhancing the installation like quality.
